Guided Trail Runs

These runs are for anyone who hasn't trialled running on the trails before and want to give it a go, or for those who just wish to explore new trails and not have to think about the route. It is a great way to enjoy new routes, make new like minded friends and escape for an hour or two.

One of my favourite parts of running is the planning aspect of a new route and plotting where I want to explore. I want to show you what a beautiful landscape  we live in and get you excited about coming off the beaten track, you'll be surprised to find out what in on your doorstep.

I will plan a variety of different routes and guide you along the way. Expect to have plenty of stops to re-group and a chance to take in the views. In order for the runs to flow well I do recommend that everyone is able to maintain a running pace of at least 10:30-11:30 min/mile (6:31-7:08 min/km) on the flat continuously for the length of run I am offering. We will hike the hills but we will also try and run on the flat and downhills where possible. Do contact me rosie@runwithrosie.com if you are concerned about your ability to join.

It is important to come well equipped with appropriate footwear, hydration/fuel and waterproofs according to the conditions on the day.

Join me on the trails, whether you are a first timer or experienced trail runner, I can guarantee you will enjoy it and come back feeling refreshed and with a smile on your face.

Summer Sessions 2025:

The first of my guided runs will kick off this summer. I have 3 stunning trail routes for you, starting in Liphook. See below for more information and sign up if you or your friends are interested.

Friday 25th July at 7pm starting from Liphook. This is a lovely wooded route around Milland Hanger and Chapel Common before heading back down past Liphook Golf club and finishing at the Links pub for those who wish to stay for a drink.

Thursday 7th August at 7pm starting from The Devil's Punchbowl. This route will take in some stunning view points across Surrey and the surrounds. It will be quite undulating and at times but we will hike the hills! There is the option of a post run drink at The Hound & Heather Pub afterwards for those who wish to stay for a drink.

Thursday 21st August at 7pm starting from Fernhurst Pavillion. This route will take us up from Fernhurst to the famous Blackdown summit (279.7m). It will not be about pace, instead we will enjoy the stunning surroundings together and hike when we need to. You an expect to see lots of wildlife and views across Sussex to the Southdowns National Park (as long as its not raining!). Again there is the option of having a drink at the Red Lion pub at the end for those who wish to stay.
