About Rosie

Rosie is a certified UESCA Running Coach. She holds a Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) with England Athletics and is currently working towards her Coaching in Running Fitness (CiRF) with England athletics. Rosie is also a registered Physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a keen interest in running related injury treatment and management.

Growing up with sports, Rosie has been running track and field since school days on and off. She became more serious about running when she signed up to the Great North Run in 2013 after being inspired as a university student in Newcastle. Since then she has been a member of a couple of local running clubs and recently joined Liss Runners.

Running quickly became more than just fitness for Rosie, it was an outlet from her busy life with 3 young children. She soon discovered the local trails of the Southdown's national park and further field. Rosie now enjoys taking part in various trail running events, most recently, running the Serpent Trail 75K and running the West Highland Way over 3 days this year. Completing UTS 25k last year, completing numerous trail and road marathons and Ultramarathons. Rosie also has experience leading trail runs for a social running group which was a particular highlight to her week.

Rosie believes that running is for everyone with the right guidance and encouragement. Rosie knows the difficulties faced when returning to running after injury and having had her own children. She is able to guide the return to running carefully with her physiotherapy knowledge.
